    * The actual download speed of this modem is slightly less than 1,000 Mbps when connected via a single GigE Ethernet port. The modem supports Ethernet port bonding via LAG to devices that support bonding. When connected via two bonded Ethernet ports, the actual download speed is slightly less than 2,000 Mbps. The speed may also be limited by the speed of your Internet service and other factors.

** This cable modem does not have a built-in wireless router and does not have telephone jacks for support of voice phone calls.

† One open and 3 masked LAN ports allow connection of any SINGLE device with an Ethernet port including a router, Windows/Mac computer, HDTV, game station. The multiple Ethernet ports are not for connecting multiple devices; they allow connection to a router that can bond more than one Ethernet port to achieve speeds over 1 Gbps when supported by your cable service.

Great product

Increased my speed for download and upload, double both. Easy to set up. Xfinity was a pain to contact, total time with a customer service person was 40 minutes and it was not added to the account. Used the App, which I hate to download, but it was added to the account within minutes that way. So if you have Xfinitity (Comcast) don't waste your time calling, just download the app. Super happy with the new modem. It replaced and Arris Surfboard. Caught a sale as well, so an excellent price.

Quality modem

Replaced a DOCSIS 3.0 Arris modem rated for Gb but only achieved ~350 Mb via fast.com. I plugged in this one, and it jumped to > 850 Mb. It could be the protocol, but it sure is fast!

Stable enough that you don't have to think about it.

We have Comcast/Xfinity and I purchased our Modem on 3/2018 with a stand alone router instead of using and paying for the Xfinity Modem/router. Fast forward to early November and Motorola replaced our original modem with a new one because of certificate issues. The original unit was very stable and the replacement has been as well. Was able to setup new unit using Xfinity app.
